What's new in eBroker and e3 Web Enrollment
Several enhancements are now available to help improve visibility, streamline enrollment management, and make it easier to access information in eBroker and e3 Web Enrollment:
- Open Enrollment notifications: Active Open Enrollment periods now display directly within a group's e3 Enrollment record, helping you and your groups stay informed of key enrollment timelines and reduce the risk of missed deadlines.
- Enhanced Global Search: Global Search can now locate accounts, quotes, and e3 Web groups across all records you have access to view, eliminating the need to switch between list views to find information. To access Global Search, scroll to the bottom of the List View page. The search field may require additional scrolling before it appears.
- Member information fields: The Groups' Members tab now includes new fields that provide greater visibility into member data.
- Mode of Eligibility/Electronic Enrollment Type: Shows the enrollment method being used for the group, helping you understand how membership information is submitted and maintained.
- Last Membership Update Date: Shows when the membership data was submitted and last refreshed. Membership updates currently occur twice per month for non e3 Web Enrollment groups.
- Member history PDF export: You can now view, print, and save a PDF of a member's e3 Web enrollment history, making it easier to maintain records and confirm completed updates.
- Small Group renewal email notifications: To help you stay informed and reduce the need to monitor the Broker Portal for updates, a new enhancement has been introduced that sends an automatic email notification when Small Group renewals for the upcoming month are available for review.
Helpful tips and reminders
A few reminders can help you navigate eBroker and e3 Web Enrollment more efficiently:
- Find groups and records faster: If you can't locate a group or record, check your List View selection. The default Recently Viewed view only displays records you've recently accessed. Switching to a broader view, such as Group - All Book of Business or Group - e3 Web Enrollment, may help you find the information you're looking for. Please remember that Recently Viewed only shows records you've accessed recently, not all records available to you.
- e3 Web Enrollment activation: The e3 Web Enrollment Portal becomes available after a group's effective date. Until then, enrollment changes should be submitted through your sales representative or Small_Group_Enrollment@sentara.com, as enrollment remains a manual process.
- Unique login for account protection: To help protect account information and ensure a reliable portal experience, each user should have their own eBroker login credentials. Login credentials should not be shared between users, agencies, teams, or employer groups. Unique sign-ins help maintain appropriate access and make it easier to troubleshoot portal access issues. If a new user needs access, complete the External Portal User Form.
