Urgent Care
If you are experiencing moderate flu or cold symptoms our Sentara Urgent care locations are here to help. We offer weekday, evening and weekend hours. Walk-in service is available.
Moderate flu/cold symptoms are:
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Chills/body ache
- Signs of dehydration
- Fever, cough, sore throat
- Sinus or ear pain
Emergency Room
If you have severe flu symptoms it is important that you seek care from one of our Sentara Emergency rooms. Call 9-1-1 if you are having a life threatening emergency.
Severe flu/cold symptoms are:
- Worsening symptoms
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe dehydration
- Sudden dizziness or confusion
- Persistent vomiting
- Chest pain
