Breastfeeding Class - Charlottesville

Registration is required to obtain the mailed and virtual materials to accompany the class. When restrictions are lifted on sheltering-in-place, the class can resume meeting in person. *** This class will discuss the benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby and dispel some of the myths associated with breastfeeding. Other tips will include getting started, common problems, pumping, going back to work and the fathers/support person's role. We encourage the father or support person to attend. Includes mom plus one support person. *Inclement Weather Hotline - 434-654-4402 If inclement weather determines the cancellation of a maternity education class, a message will be posted on MJH's Weather Hotline by 4pm each day. If the scheduled class is Saturday morning at 9am, then the update would be by 8am.
