Childbirth Class 4 Week Series - Charlottesville

This class is being offered  in-person only. Once you register, an e-mail will be sent, closer to the class start date, including details about your specific class.

This 4-week series is taught by one of our certified childbirth experts. They can help you and your support person prepare for the birth of your baby while also allowing you more time to prepare and process what you are learning over the length of the class.

The 4-week series class is uniquely intended to help you pace your learning and grow your community with fellow participants.

This class will cover: understanding and managing the different stages of labor through relaxation, positioning and breathing techniques, medication options, what to expect if you have a cesarean birth, and postpartum expectations.

Our mission is to explain options so each birthing person can make an educated decision about pathways in labor.

We recommend that you schedule this class within the last two months before your due date.

Payment must be made in advance. No fee for patients with Medicaid or Virginia Premier. Please call to register for fee to be waived.
