Gestational diabetes education

If you are managing gestational diabetes or diabetes during pregnancy, you are not alone. Diabetes Care & Education Specialists can assist you in managing blood sugars to minimize risks and improve health for you and your baby during pregnancy and beyond.

Gestational diabetes education classes will provide you with education and support during your pregnancy to:

• Learn skills and tools for meal planning, being active, and use of medication to achieve blood glucose targets
• Develop plans/strategies to help overcome challenges
• Gain understanding on screening and ways to prevent the onset of diabetes or manage diabetes after pregnancy

Group Classes

• Group 1 - Non-English/Non-Spanish-speaking group meets from 9 to 11 a.m.*
• Group 2 - English-speaking group meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.*
• Group 3 - Spanish-speaking group meets from 1 to 3 p.m.*
