Presenter: Dr. Kristin Quesenberry, audiologist

Hearing loss, which can occur gradually due to aging and chronic exposure to loud noises, is common. About 1/3 of people in the United States between the ages of 65 and 75 have some degree of hearing loss. For many, assistive technologies such as hearing aids could significantly improve their quality of life. Although most types of hearing loss can't be reversed, you can take steps to improve what you do hear.
