Event Details

Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in U.S. men. Roughly one out of eight men (one in six for Black men) will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime.

Join the Sentara Cancer Network for a prostate screening.

Please bring a photo ID and insurance card. Screening for those who are eligible will include a simple blood test.

Eligibilty is as follows:

  • Age 40 and up for all Black men
  • Age 40 and up for men who are at high risk (Two first degree relatives with prostate cancer before the age of 65)
  • Age 50 and up for men of average risk
  • No urinary symptoms
  • No PSA screening within the past 12 months
  • Not actively being treated for prostate cancer
