Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center wants to make virtual childbirth and newborn parent education available for the community. Until January 14, 2024, Sentara is offering these classes for free. Prenatal education classes are not just for first-time moms, even seasoned parents and grandparents can learn something new. Childbirth classes and other parenting online classes can instill confidence and help manage expectations before and after the birth of a new child.

Below is a list of the FREE classes, along with the code needed for access:

All classes are available in both English and Spanish. Redemption code “sentara” (all lowercase) should be used for all classes.

Click CREATE ACCOUNT button
Set up your account by entering your first name, last name and email address
Enter/Create a password
Enter password you created to confirm
Enter access redemption code: sentara (all lower case)
Click VALIDATE button
Check box next to "I Agree to the Terms & Conditions"
Click COMPLETE button
